OnePlus 11R leaked: Righting some previous wrongs?

The OnePlus 11 series is expected to get at least two new phones — the OnePlus 11 and a more affordable OnePlus 11R. There’s been a lot of back and forth about their design and specs, thanks to multiple leaks making different claims. Today, we have another leak from MySmartPrice allegedly revealing prototype images and specs of the OnePlus 11R. If the information is accurate, the phone might get two features that budget phone users will welcome wholeheartedly.
First up, it looks like the alert slider is making its way back to cheaper OnePlus flagships. The OnePlus 10T and OnePlus 10R both lacked the button because OnePlus had reserved it only for its premium phones. Being a distinguished OnePlus feature, prospective OnePlus 11R buyers will surely be more than happy to get it without paying a premium.
Another feature commonly found on budget handsets is an IR blaster. People use it to control infrared-equipped appliances with their phones, like ACs, television sets, and more. OnePlus had never included one on its phones, but it looks like the OnePlus 11R might be the first.
In the specs department, leakers say the OnePlus 11R, codenamed Udon, will get a curved 120Hz Full HD+ display. In contrast, the OnePlus 10R featured flat edges. A 16MP selfie shooter is said to rest within a centered punch hole on the screen, which also houses an in-display fingerprint sensor.
The Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 should power the phone, per the leak. OnePlus is essentially reusing the chip from the OnePlus 10T.
At the back, the OnePlus 11R might feature a 50MP Sony IMX766 primary shooter, a 13MP ultrawide camera, and a 2MP sensor. A 5,000mAh battery could do the phone’s bidding. There’s no word on fast charging specs, but the leakers say the device features a single-cell battery. Therefore, it might skip 150W charging support.
